Tom, I record some movies from my DVR to DVD. Do I have the capability to add them to my collection list?
Also, when I asked you about going to Amazon, you indicated that it had to be a movie in your update list.
I rarely buy those movies, since I purchased what I want a month ago and wait to add to my collection. You
Should have a button that takes people directly to Amazon and gives you credit for any movies they want!

Alan,
When you record a movie on DVD whether from a DVR or other source, you can check if there is a DVD version of the title that is in the reference catalog and then "ADD" it to your catalog. You can make edits to the title to change the type the DVD-R or makes other notes.
If the title in not in the Reference Catalog you can create a movie title from scratch. There is a help video on this topic. See screen capture below.
You can also create a disc/item from scratch as well. You can also locate an appropriate image an upload the image.
Regarding the question about the Amazon associates link, here is an excerpt from the Amazon web site:
7. How does Amazon track orders coming from my Web site?
An Associates ID is assigned when you sign up through our online form. Links from Associates Web sites to Amazon use a special format that includes this code. Every time a customer follows one of those links to our site, this unique URL tells us which page to display as well as which Associate sent the customer to us. We keep track of the Associates ID as the customer browses through our Web site, and even if they close their browser and come back later that day.t
My current understanding is that if you click a link on the DVDR2 web site that takes you to Amazon and you purchase a different item than the initial landing page, the DVDR Associates Account will get a commission.
