Migration path from DVD Register Client to DVD Register 2.0 Web?

I have a fairly large catalog scanned into the original DVD Register client and have long thought of moving to the Web based product.  Is there any import functionality in the application?  I've looked in tools and in the help index, but do not see any reference to this.

Re: Migration path from DVD Register Client to DVD Register 2.0 Web?

Your desktop catalog is converted to the DVDR2.0 database as a factory service.  There is no extra charge for the one-time conversion.  You will need make a database backup file using the File>Export>Backup...  I use the desktop backup file to perform the conversion/migration. All of your desktop data finds a home in the web based database so you don't need to re-enter your catalog.  Cover art images are automatically hosted on the web based catalog.  Any custom or personal cover art that you made for your desktop catalog can be uploaded to the web server once your web catalog is on-line.

Bear in mind that once the desktop catalog data is converted to the web catalog there is no automatic synchronization between the desktop and web based copies of your catalog.  Changes that you make the web catalog do not appear in the desktop catalog and vice versa.  There is no process to convert a web based catalog back to the desktop catalog.  The web catalog has additional tables and data items that are not present in the desktop catalog.
