I am trying to change some cover images for disc entries in 2.0. I delete the current front cover image and select a new front cover image. When I specify to upload the new image, the old image I thought I deleted is put back in the record.

Addendum: I discovered that if I clear my browser cache, then it works. It looks like the program goes after the cached image no matter what file you specify. I am using Firefox 24 as my browser.

Mike,
I replicated the issue you mention above. I noticed that I did not have to clear the browser cache. I merely had to request a refresh of the page and the correct image would be shown after replacing a deleted image. The replacement image is correctly uploaded to the server but the older image is displayed from the local browser cache. The browser does not recognize the replacement image because the server gives the image file the same name regardless of the name on the local PC.
I made a change to the user image upload page to force the browser to "no-cache" the images on this page. I tested this with Windows 7 64bit and IE10. This change is currently on the development server at www.dvdregister.biz Please test with Firefox and let me know if the issue is resolved on your end. If the page is working I will move the change to the production server.

With Firefox I still had to refresh the page for the new image to take. I also tested IE 10 and the refresh was not needed.

Mike,
Confirmed. Firefix did not respect the no-cache directive as I had coded it. I made a tweak to the page. I retested in WIn7 64 bit and Firefox 24 and the refresh is no longer needed for me.
Please confirm on your end.

Nope. I still have to refresh the page in Firefox 24 to see the new image. When I just upload the new image, I still get the old one.

Mike,
Did you test on www.dvdregister.biz ? I cannot replicate the issue with Firefox on my end. I will move the page over to the production server later on Sunday.

Yes, I tested in the development server. Just tried it again and it seems to work OK now. Thanks for the fix.
