Filter by Form Not Working as Expected in Release 1.23.13.04

Tom,

I have been using Release 1.23.13.04 since January 20.  Things seem to be going pretty smoothly - however, the filter doesn't seem to work like I was expecting. (I used this feature regularly in 1.16 - to see the titles in my collection by a particular director or performer, or search for genres, etc.)

I open the software, then open the movies form.  I then click on the FILTER BY FORM icon.  Then say, I go to director and select Hitchcock, Alfred - then click on FILTER BY SELECTION.  At that point, I would expect for all titles with Hitchcock as director to be "filtered".  But nothing happens. 

What am I missing.  I am sure it is obvious to everyone except me.

Try the catalog filter as follows:

1.    Open the File>Movie Form…
2.    Click the Tool bar Button “Filter by Form”
3.    Select a director using the drop down list in the form.
4.    Click the Tool Bar Button “Toggle Filter”  (Filtered titles should be displayed at this point).
5.    Click the Tool Bar Button “Clear Filter” to go back to the full catalog.

You can also use the command menu to perform the same steps.

I retested this procedure using Release 1.23.13.04 on Windows 8 / Access 2013 and it works for me. Let me know if this helps.
