I have not been able to log on to live update or Rapid Web entry for the last week or two. I even went back and checked my email from you from when I had to rebuild my data base after my system crashed the beginning of the year and what is entered for login and password are what you gave me. I am using the http://www.dvd-register.com/protected/ site. Any ideas as to why it stopped working? My subscription is good until July.

I checked your login credentials and they are working for me. I resent your subscription credential in a separate message just in case. You are correct, your subscription is good till July. I know no reason that you login should have stopped working from what I can see on my end.
Try opening a Internet Explorer session to www.dvd-register.com and try to login from IE. Try to login into the web catalog or to the manual download page. If you can login from IE then the DVDR should be able to login. If you cannot login using IE then try to login from another PC/Device you can use temporarily. For example you can try from a smart phone or a tablet.

There was some setting somewhere in IE8 that was causing the problem. When I went into options and defaulted the "Security -> Internet" down to medium and back up to Medium high again then everything worked. I looked at the settings before I reset everything and I don't know which one was the one preventing me from logging into your site. I thought maybe it was my virus software and put exceptions everywhere for dvd-register but it still didn't work. That is when I reset IE8. Go figure. I don't remember changing any settings. Maybe something changed in an update at one point and resetting it now fixed it. Would not be new. I ran a malicious software program from Microsoft once and it broke my "Computer Browser" so that it would not start and didn't think it was a service. Sometime after that my system got hacked and I had to rebuild everything. So now my "Computer Browser" and everything else works again. And I can access the login on your site with IE8 and rapid web entry through the DVDR application. So I'm good.
